The Battle of Camden

The Battle of Camden    8-16-1780 , it was a land slide battle won by the British . Out of 4000 troops by rounding a thousand of continental army was  not ready be cause they were from farms cites with no training , and that’s one of the reasons that we lost the battle . “We charge without knifes on our   guns  and we got mow down ” . That was from a continental solider . The causalities were , British deaths 68 and wounded 245 , Continental army  deaths 300 and wounded 600 . Commander Horatio Gates lead the Continental army  , and Commander , Charles Lord Corn Walls , lead the British army . The continental Commander had made a mistake but it was to late . The lost of life and weapons has hit us pretty hard .General Washington replaced Horatio Gates .     Picture made by history geek .
